This is why, He is why the believer is told not to worry, not to be lost in the fears of others but to like a baby trust. The blind trust of a baby proves that hate is learned. Hate comes in many forms and is always partnered with fear. So I share this revelation with you that fear is a killer.
I have been speaking of “I am what I eat for several weeks”. So it goes to say that whatever my mind is on will surround me. If I am taking in a steady diet of fear my anxieties will grow. If I listen to hateful rhetoric it will ensnare me like the trap it is meant to be.
What is the opposite of humbleness? As there are many examples in scripture there is one the entire world sees to this day coming by way of “The Tower of Babel”. The great sin in this story was the direct attack on God to replace Him. Because nothing and no one is His equal. This includes the false ideas that He has an enemy.
So what are you afraid of? Why do you hold onto fear as if it were a comfortable blanket? The very deceptive lie that we can on our own understand and compete with God is but a seduction. Once realized, the new or old believer awakens to realize that fear is a lie.
Fear is a lie as the world seeks to hide The Truth because emotions like fear is the greatest chain to apply when seeking control. Does this not sound familiar maybe like “guilt” which many will attempt to use as a weapon in order to subjugate another. See when outright fear doesn’t work the next move is to use guilt.
The reason God has given us HIS-Story is so that we can see costs and benefits over time. Some will call it rewards and punishments but that is fallible because punishments are nothing more than opportunities of correcting. So when we look at it this way we have nothing left to fear. Grace has already been deployed for ALL the world, which has removed the need to carry around the weight of guilt. The Law was given to us so that we could understand the need for correction. Why do you think it’s often called a “correctional facility”?
So when I think about God and God’s Armor I see my Fortress (Refuge) and my armor. But none of this belongs to me it is loaned by God each day. Which instills in me the desire to always seek Him, to praise Him and to ask for these loaned items daily. For I know there is a day when the requests will no longer be needed because I will forever be HOME with Him living under His constant love. Like a baby bird sitting under their mothers wing, but forever, which allows me to be like a baby and simply focus on the praise that He deserves (all of my attention).
