As a nation we have sold our souls for the sake of convenience.
We have chosen cheap and quick over our morals and our best interest.
It’s time to turn our backs on the instant gratification/more for your money worldview.
It’s time we put our money where our mouth is.
Stop supporting companies that are actively attacking our rights and freedoms.
Even if it means we spend more.
Even if it means we do without in some areas.
Even if it means we are inconvenienced.
Even if it means we are uncomfortable.
Perhaps ESPECIALLY if it means these things.
We all know that nothing good comes easy and yet, we have lived contrary to that eternal truth.
We have bowed to every satanic lie that has been pedaled our way because we couldn’t be bothered to spend $20 more on grocery day or do without soda or chips.
We watched our friends and neighbors lose their businesses to Wal-Mart, Amazon, Starbucks, Kroger, Target, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Applebee’s, McDonald’s, etc.
And we talked about what a shame it was while we handed over our hard earned money and contributed to their demise.
So it’s time.
Time to be inconvenienced.
Time to do without.
Time to invest in our communities.
Time to shop local.
Find a local butcher, find a farmers market. Buy from patriots. Buy used.
Step away from the monstrosity that we paid to have constructed on our own backs while we were eating cheeseburgers and swilling soda.
Let’s get busy stripping the power from these mega corporations.
Let’s really learn the meaning of grassroots.
Let’s be a friend, support our neighbor, build our community.
Let’s share the love of Christ.
We have more power than we ever dreamed.
Let’s be forces of good rather than evil.
Creation rather than destruction.
Health over convenience.
Holiness over Worldliness.
